Feel like writing

Hi, I feel like I should introduce myself. Hi, I'm Liz. It has been a very long while since I've written. Sorry blogosphere- life just got hectic and crazy.

Brief update, got married to my wonderful Husband(turned out perfect- so much fun), went to Bali (good and bad times both), hurt my knee practicing yoga in bali and still can't do lotus, got back in August, found out I was preggers, got a job... now getting big (already at 27 weeks), and so stoked to have our kid. She is a busy little girl, she has been kicking non stop since yesterday morning and kept me up all night. I guess this is good practice for the upcoming sleepless nights.

I am having an easy pregnancy. I am so lucky. Due date is Feb. 4. Crazy lucky to be having a baby, I have so many friends struggling to get pregnant. Not at all pleasant for them.

My ribs are being pushed out by this little spud, it hurts!

Here's some honeymoon photos for your viewing pleasure

Bye bud

Lander died last night. We came home from the movie and he was gone. He was old, and has been sick, but had been better recently, even going for a couple of adventures yesterday. I miss him, his face, and him putting his head on my lap. He was part of our little family.

I'll miss you buddy. You could be a pain, but I loved you.

I'm Back

I had a lovely visit back to good old Clarkston. I saw lots of friends and family and settled into a nice LAZY pace. Driving, life in general is just slower there. Good for the soul. I did only two practices of first series only. I did lots of tv watching, shopping, and sleeping. Ah, home is so easy.

Back to life now. Yoga wasn't too bad this morning, though I'm having this weird pinching in my left hip flexor, like it is out of place. I couldn't do leg behind the head because of this pinching. It just wouldn't go. I came really close to Karandavasana this morning, though not close enough! I've figured out what exactly inhibits the legs from going into lotus easily upside down and it is definitely that the sides of my butt are tight. This is a tough area to get to.

So sad about what happened to Sean O'Shea. I didn't know him though I've practiced with him. Such a freak accident and so sad for those who loved him.

I hope you are all well and bring on 2007, it is going to be a good one

whoa there nelly

Ok, gotta chill on the xmas shopping. I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping for gifts and would spend a thousand on each of my family members and friends if let loose. I think I am officially done. I just picked up the last gift for my bro and that was the last one on my list. Yippee!

School is out, today was insane. The kids were so excited to be going on break that it seemed they were all tweaked out on crack. They were sooooo fidgety and wouldn't shut the hell up. The TA and I were yelling all day. Stessful and I'm feeling the stress in my back and in my fatigued body. Oh well, it is breaky break time now so atleast I have two weeks to recover.

I turned in an application today for my "Real" job. Wish me luck for a position teaching second semester. I think I would go gray by 30 if I had to sub all second semester. I want some real money and a real class. I really despise subbing. I wish I could take back how horrible I was as a kid to the subs... ah, what retribution.

Tomorrow we are celebrating our two year anniversary. I got some good gifts for B. He is very practical so I got him socks... ya, I know, but he'll be stoked, believe me. I also got him a temperpedic pillow which he's wanted forever, and lastly a really good bottle of Rhone. I have no idea what he is thinking of for my gift. I know what I want though. Expectations are a bummer.

A cop got shot in Oside near where my students live. It is rough in the valley there. The TA knew the cop. Sucks. They are still on a man hunt, no guy yet. Feel so bad for his family :(

On a lighter note, heading north Saturday night for 10 days with the fam. Can't wait to have some down time, a full fridge, and a comfy couch!

Happy holiday ya'll
